LIFT App Diagnostic Error Messages

Below are specific error messages you could encounter when running the diagnostics portion of the LIFT APP.   If you have questions or require help, feel free to contact us.

 

  • no ext stor! (Android)
    • This is not actually an error.  The test will pass this step and continue with diagnostics.  What this means is that external storage is not available to the app for purposes of storing a unique identifier.
  • OS Blocked or device token check OS Blocked)
    • This indicates that notifications are not on at the phones OS level.  Typically this happens when the app asks to send notifications and the user presses no / do not allow.
  • APNS Firewall: Timeout (iOS)
    • During diagnostics the app checks to make sure the network ports that notifications come in on are available.  If you get this error it means that your phone can not connect through one or more of the following ports: 5223, 2194 and 2196.
